After the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus
-one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, Belevi Mausoleum
is considered to be the largest tomb of the ancient Anatolia. The
total height of the tomb is approximately 23meters except the roof
part. The exact size of the tomb is not certain, as the whole roof
has not been unearthed yet.

The lion and griffon statues, on top
of the roof are now displaying in the Ephesus and Izmir Museums.
Dating back to the Hellenistic Age, Belevi Mausoleum is worth
seeing with its impressive architectural ornaments as well as the
Corinth heads.
How To Get There ?
Belevi Mausoleum is on the motorway to Izmir, 11km far from Selcuk.
We can provide a transportation from the getaway.
Can be reached by the minibuses to the villages nearby the ancient
site
