Samos
Is the nearest Greek island to Turkey. Travelers mainly use this island to or from Turkey to other Greek Islands. Samos is a stunning island which has something to offer everyone.

There are wonderful mountains blanketed with cypress and olive trees which lead down to numerous beaches of all shapes, sizes and textures which are laced all around the coastline.

Samos is an island rich in history. Visit Efpalino tunnel, Archeological museum in the town of Samos, the Archeological collection at the Town hall in Pythagorio and the Temple of Hera.

Popular Island Hopping Route for Travelers & Ferry Connections…



Schedules from each island will vary depending on how busy they are so expect waits on less touristy islands.

The Cycladic Island group is the most visited and once you reach a Cycladic island, travel between the other islands is easy.

All islands have good connection to Athens.
Paros has great connections to everywhere.
Rhodes has good connections to Crete (in summer a ferry goes to Santorini) and Athens.

Connections From Samos
Samos has good connections with all other islands.
Samos – Kusadasi (Turkey): 2 boats a Day from April 1st till October 31st.
Leaving 8:00 and 17:00, takes 2 hours.
Samos to Paros or Naxos: 5 times a week from Samos to Paros and Naxos.
Samos to Syros: 4 times a week.
Samos to Athens (Piraeus): There is a daily boat in the afternoon.
There are also flights 4 times a day from Samos to Athens.
Samos to Patmos: There are daily boats from Samos to Patmos early in the morning so you can visit daily. There are also other boats in the afternoon.

Travel Tips
There are also new fast ferries that are half the time of regular ferries but twice the money.
P.S. Be careful of any national holidays as ferries may be on a limited schedule then.
Make sure you have good maps if you set to explore on bikes, mopeds or foot.
Make reservations at hostels / pensions as they will be full in the summer and they will pick you up at the port.
At the ports you will be greeted by people offering accommodation. Make sure you look carefully at what they are offering you and where it is located; otherwise you might end up middle of nowhere!

How to get there?
Paradise Beach is situated 4.5 km south of Mykonos Town.
On your arrival, their bus awaits at the port to transfer you to Paradise Beach, free of charge. On your arrival to Mykonos Airport, their private bus will be there to transfer you once you have notified them of date and time of your arrival.
On your departure, they will transfer you to the Port of Mykonos or Airport
Access to Paradise Beach is also available with the public bus service or by taxi. For those traveling in the private vehicle, the roads are well signed to enable access to Paradise Resort
